Cookie Policy
This policy explains what cookies (and similar technologies) Overrun uses, why we use them, and how you can control them. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They let sites remember things about you - whether you are signed in, what you have in a cart, what language you prefer - and they also let third parties analyse how their services are being used.
Cookies set by Overrun itself are “first-party” cookies. Cookies set by services we use on our pages (such as Clerk, which handles sign-in) are “third-party” cookies.
Do we ask for consent?
Overrun uses cookies the site needs to work, three of our own that remember a promo code and which partner sent you, and analytics cookies from Google and one advertising cookie from Meta that only load if you say yes. You can change your answer any time from Cookie settings at the bottom of any page.
Before 10 October 2026 the site loaded Google Analytics and the Meta pixel without asking. Both now only load if you say yes.
Cookies we use
The tables below list every cookie Overrun currently sets, either directly or through the third-party services we embed. Providers occasionally change their cookie names - if you notice something here that no longer appears in your browser (or vice-versa) it is because a provider has updated their implementation.

If you create an account while one of these is set, we record on your account which partner, sticker or code referred you.
If you choose to sign in with Google, or press play on the video on our homepage, Google’s own cookies apply. See Google’s privacy policy.
Page views
We count page views with Vercel Analytics, which doesn’t use cookies.
Do we use analytics cookies?
Yes, from Google Analytics, and only if you say yes. It tells us which pages people visit, how they arrived, what type of device and browser they use, and their approximate location. It sets two cookies, _ga and _ga_SP0G1MLPKE, listed above.
Google keeps event data for 2 months and user-level data for 14 months. Google signals, which links visits to people’s Google accounts, is turned off.
Do we use advertising cookies?
One, from Meta, and only if you say yes. No other advertising service places cookies on the site.
Controlling cookies in your browser
Changes to this policy
We update this policy whenever we add or remove a cookie, or when a provider changes what it sets. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page always shows the current version.
