Electrical surplus is where sparkies unload leftover cable, conduit, fittings, and gear from residential and commercial jobs. Reels don't come in exact metre counts — finish a job with 60m of Twin & Earth spare and it either sits in the van forever or moves on Overrun.
Common items: 1mm, 1.5mm, 2.5mm and 4mm TPS on part-reels, 25mm and 32mm rigid PVC conduit, flexible corrugated conduit, GPOs, RCDs and MCBs (single and double pole), switchboards, junction boxes, cable trays, and LED battens and downlights in bulk boxes.
Prices reflect quantity: a 30m offcut of 2.5mm TPS is worth much more per metre than a full 100m reel bought new (the reel is only cheap if you can use most of it).
Only licensed electricians should install fixed wiring. Buying surplus for a DIY connection to your switchboard is illegal in Australia. Everything here is fair game if you have your ticket, or you're buying for a licensed electrician who does. Every seller on Overrun is ABN-verified.
