Surplus timber & sheet materials for sale in Australia

Timber and sheet products cover the bulk of what comes off Australian construction sites. When a job over-orders by a pack or two, or a builder finishes framing with pallet ends left over, the surplus lands here.

Common items: kiln-dried pine framing (F5, F7, MGP10), CD structural ply in 12mm and 15mm, MR MDF, formply for concrete work, cypress and treated pine for external use, and hardwood boards in spotted gum, blackbutt, and jarrah. Cladding: Weathertex, Scyon Linea, Barestone. Sheet often shows up in half-pack quantities — 20 to 30 sheets.

Prices depend on condition and species. Framing pine offcuts run cheap ($2–4/m); premium hardwoods hold value if the boards are straight and unmarked. Formply and structural ply move quickly if the sheets are clean — one job's leftover is another's slab prep.

Check listings for moisture damage, sight down each board for straightness, and confirm the species. Australian-milled and imported timber have different structural ratings. Pickup is usually easier for long lengths — most utes struggle with anything over 4m if you're not local.
