Fixings and fasteners covers screws, nails, bolts, anchors, brackets, hangers, and structural connectors. Trade suppliers sell by the box of 1000 or 5000 - very few jobs use a whole box, so the tail-end pieces accumulate.
Common items: batten screws (14g × 90mm, 100mm, 125mm) in Buildex and TeksCrews branding, decking screws (10g × 65mm), timber-to-metal Tek screws (10g and 12g), coach bolts and cup-head bolts, chemical and mechanical anchors (DynaBolt, chemsets), Simpson Strong-Tie brackets (joist hangers, hurricane ties, post caps), Purlin brackets, and Pryda framing hardware.
Prices: bulk boxes of specific fastener sizes are usually 40–60% below retail if the seller has full boxes; part-boxes go cheaper.
Match head style, drive type (Phillips vs square vs hex), and thread pitch to your existing job - otherwise you'll need multiple driver bits and things get slow. For structural brackets, confirm the fastener spec listed by Simpson / Pryda for the connector you're buying.
