Prices depend heavily on colour. Off-the-shelf standard colours (Antique White U SG, Natural White, Vivid White) sell instantly; custom-tinted colours only sell to someone doing the same house. Full unopened 10L or 15L tubs move for 50–70% of retail.
Check the "use by" date on the lid — paint can separate irreparably after ~2 years, especially water-based products stored in the shed. Give the tin a shake or ask the seller for a stir photo before you buy.
